As someone who regularly uses Dr. Beckmann Fleckenteufel spot removers, I found myself frustrated by the clutter they created in my laundry area. With ten different Fleckenteufel bottles for various stain types—each essential for different messes—they often toppled over or got lost among other cleaning supplies. The lack of a dedicated storage solution not only made it hard to find the right bottle quickly but also risked spills and wasted time. My goal was to design a simple, effective holder to keep all Fleckenteufel bottles upright, organized, and easily accessible.

I started by measuring the dimensions of the Fleckenteufel bottles to ensure a snug fit for each one. After sketching a few layout options, I chose a compact, two-row design so every label would remain visible at a glance. I prototyped the holder using my 3d printer to test spacing and bottle stability, making adjustments for finger clearance and ease of grabbing. Once satisfied, the final version can easily be replicated and adjusted if more products will release.

For added practicality, I included small rubber pads on the base to prevent slipping. Throughout the process, I kept usability top of mind, occasionally asking family members to test how quickly they could find and remove a specific Fleckenteufel. Their feedback led me to a reversed layout of the bottle slots for even better visibility.

The Fleckenteufel holder immediately transformed my laundry routine. No more bottles tipping over, getting misplaced, or cluttering the shelf. Now, every variant—from “Obst & Getränke” to “Schmiermittel & Öle”—has its own dedicated spot, making it easy to grab the right remover for any stain. The holder also made the space look tidier and more professional. Family and friends who saw the solution asked if I could make one for them, and a few even suggested I share the design online. Through this project, I learned how a small, user-centered intervention can streamline daily tasks and reduce frustration.
